Study of the generation of circularly polarized radiation from metallic strips

and its radio wave applications

内容简介:The circular polarizer converts linear-to-circular polarized wave. The pure circular polarization, high polarization conversion efficiency, bandwidth widening and low loss transmission have been important issue for the researchers. Therefore, an efficient approach is introduced to improve bandwidth and the transmission loss of circular polarizers at resonant frequencies. In this research, the novel approach of “fission transmission of electromagnetic waves” is firstly developed to understand the physical origin of strong circular dichroism of the designed structures. The object of this research is to achieve co- and cross- polarization transmission by using significant techniques to design dual-band, tri-band, and multi-band circular polarizers based on 3 × 3 metallic strips array. The designed polarizers have good circular polarization with wide band with low loss transmission. Each band of circular polarizers is extended at distinct resonances frequency. The designed models of circular polarizers have good circular polarization efficiency, broad operating bandwidth which makes it potentially useful for many practical systems.

时间反演电磁波在复杂媒介中的传播特性及其应用研究

内容简介:时间反演(TR)电磁学是近年来发展起来的电磁学新方向。研究表明,TR 电磁波传播具有时-空同步聚焦、超分辨力聚焦等特性,基于这些特性构建亚波长微结构天线阵列,TR 电磁波传播能突破瑞利衍射极限(λ/2, λ为波长),实现空间超分辨力聚焦,深入研究基于时间反演电磁波的超分辨力聚焦的物理机制以及构建亚波长天线阵列中的超辨率传输技术是十分重要的研究思路,为在移动终端等有限空间内构建密集独立信道提供了可能。因此,基于TR电磁波的无线通信具有十分广阔的发展前景。
