On Level-Set Methods for Inverse Scattering
Dominique Lesselier
内容简介:
Motivations
-- Identification of structured regions of space (e.g., in free and stratified media) that should be characteristic of scattering objects via time-harmonic electromagnetic means (it could be others)
-- Specific attention to homogeneous bounded obstacles of unknown number (here, in addition somewhat novel extension to thin shapes (cracks, …)
-- General situation is that one of connectivity, location, shape, material parameters of the objects to be mapped are unknown
Framework
-- Maxwell's field formulations and the like (EIT, DOT,…)
-- Controlled evolution of level sets as a means to map the boundaries of the regions of interest & to appraise their parameters
Today’s question:
-- How to optimally/quickly/ evolve from data collected in possibly harsh conditions the said boundaries and get some additional info?
报告人简介:Dominique Lesselier is with the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) as Researcher since October 1981 and Research Director since October 1988. He is currently with the Laboratoire des Signaux et Systèmes, UMR8506 (CNRS, CentraleSupélec, Université Paris-Sud), Université Paris-Saclay, Gif-sur-Yvette, France. As Director (2006-2009) of the Groupement de Recherche CNRS “GDR Ondes,” he managed a broad network of scientists involved in the science of waves. His research interests include development of solution methods of inverse and imaging problems, from mathematics to numerics to applications, and vice versa.
