惯性动力学模型在科学计算中的发展和应用

主讲人简介:董国志博士现为中南大学数学与统计学院 副教授,曾任魏尔斯特拉斯研究所、柏林洪堡大学数学学院助理研究员,维也纳大学数学学院研究助理湖南师范大学科研与研究生办实习研究员。董国志博士主要研究方向为反问题与科学计算。2025年入选教育部“长江学者奖励计划”青年学者项目。中国仿真学会不确定性系统分析与仿真专委会委员,CSIAM 反问题与成像专委会委员,美国数学会评论员。在ESAIM:COCV, Found. Comput. Math., Inver. Prob., J. Comput. Phy., SIAM 系列刊物(SIIMS,SIOPT,SISC), Sci. China Math.等国际知名刊物发表论文20篇。
讲座内容:Inertial dynamics as classical models in mechanics describe conversion and dissipation of energy in a class of mechanic systems, which are typically second-order differential equations (systems). We are trying to figure out some of the new perspective of such second-order dynamics in this talk. Our investigation indicates that they can also be powerful tools to develop numerical methods for solving inverse problems and variational problems in Hilbert spaces, which provides novel connections between numerical methods of dissipative hyperbolic equations and optimization in infinite dimensional spaces. This talk will show cases on some of our recent development in this aspect.
