CABU Board Design (Intern) --Shanghai
Cisco CABU Introduction:
Cable Access Business Unit (CABU) focuses to build the access network architecture CATV Cable operators. Products include uBR10k, Optical transmission platform, Optical Node/Amp platform and Next-Generation Network Solutions for Cable Access. CABU team at Cisco China Research and Development Center, Shanghai, China, concentrates on CMTS/HFC and next-generation System Engineering developments.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the board development, bring up, function verification test and debugging for cable next-generation network products,.
- Job involves RF/Optics system analysis, Board design, ADS/HFSS simulation, Engineering Design Verification Test and other HW qualification tests
- Interfaces cross-functionally at the working team level. Work closely with FPGA, diagnostics and software developers throughout the development process.
- Assists in Lab set-up and management for product development.
Requirements:
Good to have skill/experiences
- Solid Capability of proficiency with spice (or equivalent) circuit simulation.
- Networking knowledge such as TCP/IP, MAC and PHY layers .
- General knowledge of modulation such as QAM and OFDM
- knowledge for DOCSIS, HFC, PON, WiFi and Zigbee
- Hands-on trouble shooting experience.
