Title: Multiple Relational Ranking in Tensor: Theory, Algorithms and Applications

Abstract: In this talk, I discuss multiple relational ranking problems arising from tensor data. Multi-rank algorithms and its relevant mathematical results (convergence, higher-order Markov chains, transition probability tensors and perturbation bounds) are presented. Applications in data mining and information retrieval are given to demonstrate the performance and usefulness of the proposed algorithm.

吴国宝(Michael K. Ng)：现为香港浸会大学数学系讲座教授。2005年9 月之前，先后担任澳大利亚国立大学研究员和香港大学副教授。研究领域包括科学计算、数字图像处理、生物信息学、数据挖掘及运筹学等。已出版英文专著6本，发表国际期刊论文百余篇，其中包括SIAM系列期刊和IEEE系列期刊。发表在SIAM Review的一篇论文Google Scholar引用达812次。目前，担任Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics的主编,SIAM Imaging Science和Numerical Linear Algebra with Applications等期刊编委。1996年获得第九届Householder荣誉提名奖，2017年获冯康科学计算奖，2017年当选美国工业与应用数学学会会士 (SIAM Fellow)。
